Srsly, I had just written off forged internals for the motor I'm rebuilding, but $100 pistons would make it worth taking to a shop for bore and assembly.

 

Hah, I've got the money for the pistons no problem. I'm referring to the fact that my little "project" that I haven't posted up about on here yet is slowing getting to be a bit more than I anticipated.

I got a reply, but I'm not going to take these. The more I think about it, stock pistons and forged rods will be more than enough for what I want to do. Someone else enjoy these bad boys.

 

I got a reply...said they were in a 292whp motor.

He gave me a compression ht number that I'm trying to match with a ratio...1.2575.

 

From what I can find they only made an 8.5:1 cr piston for the b6. You could run quite a bit of boost on pump gas with that CR.

 

I found 8.7:1

Either way, good enough for my gravy.

I've taken a few cc out of this head I'm porting anyways.

 

it's been up on craigslist on and off for a while. I remember seeing this back in december, I almost snagged it but passed on it.

but if i do get in line now i can get a head of all of yooouussss, local bishes!
