Just got a line on some used slicks from a local race shop. Owner is asking $50/ea for the following:

Continental 225/45R17 ST (1)
Continental 225/45R17 Extreme Contact Wet (12)
Pirelli 200/600-16 (Slick, no notation) (2)
Pirelli 245/620-17 (Slick, no notation) (2)
BF Goodrich P225-45ZR17 G-Force R1 (6) - I believe he said these R1s are new, or like new. At $50/a piece, I wish they fit my car.

Please note that some of these are wet tires, most are dry. He might be charging sales tax, I am not sure. I forgot to ask when I talked to him this morning. I can get clarification if there is interest.

I am thinking about picking up a set of the A6s. Anyone want me to get others while I am there?

I am only familiar with 2 of the teams they support. One runs NCs and the other runs Elises. Which explains the larger sizes. I just posted everything he had in case someone needed/wanted something. Going to make the trip over there next week.

The 205/45R16 fit my stock rims. Seemed like a good deal, $200 for a set of used A6s. Am I wrong?

ok thanx. We have 2 lotus cars at the shop. My Exocet is covered with all the SM cars around. Now I just need to get someone who wants 4 10" 6ULs so I can get more 8s.
