Default Wiseco 83.5mm 8.38:1 Pistons and Scat forged H-beam rods

I have a set of assembled and balanced Wiseco 83.5mm (.020 over) pistons (PN: 6553M835) and forged Scat H-beam rods. I bought them over 10 years ago for an engine build that never happened. I got them from a member here who had their engine built and started, but never really ran it. They look nearly new, with a superficial amount of wear to the "ArmorGlide skirt coating". Come with piston rings installed. I can include oil squirters as well. You can still see the sharpie marks of the piston weight on the bottoms.

You may be wondering who pays to build an engine, and then never runs it. Well in the early 2010's this place was in the peak phase of automotive forums (RIP) and the Miata's general popularity. It was really common for someone to get swept up in the excitement of the community and go too far, too fast (me too!). Whether it was going broke, losing interest, or the lack of tools and technology to build what we really wanted, we all experienced it. It still happens now, but it was really common then. The pain of those days are what has created the cool stuff we have today.

Sorry, didn't post a price. Looks like new is $1400 (pistons, rods, rings), how about $850 shipped in a large flat rate box.

Would you split the rods from the pistons? If yes, how much would you ask for them?

I’d like to sell them together. They are properly mounted and balanced. You could always separate them yourself.
