You need to rewire a 2 relay setup on your current system. You dont need the ecu to be any different, you'll have to rewire the fans on your car.

I was just about to say: the track guys are creaming their pants over that one

so they connect to the competition's machine and turn on 2000rpm rev limit.

It's going to be 128-bit encrypted. Boo.

  that would be SO AWESOME hahahahhahaha |
I changed from diypnp to MS3x because I felt left behind when it came to new enhancements. I am sad again :(

You'd have to set Techsalvagers to 100rpm or he'd pass everyone.

Can I get a god damned USB port instead of serial on the box?

that's built into the ms3 daughterboard. |
see my post #50.
I agree though. serial is so 90's. most new laptops don't even have a serial port anymore. |

More feature-wise teasers.
- Short TEN to GND in the diagnostic connector to lock timing to 10* and set the idle valve to 25% on the NB/NB2 (35% On the NA). - RTC data available in the datalogs - Innovate LC-1/MTX-L digital communications: No voltage offset for perfect matching between what the wideband reads and what the ECU sees. Also, the closed-loop EGO will self-deactivate if the wideband reports an error. AEM UEGO support is in the to-do list. All features above are tested and working right now. Will post vids tomorrow. |
What about the Zeitronix ZT3?

I'm guessing this isn't it? Zeitronix Zt-2 Wideband Analog Output
Problem is I already have the ZT3 kit, and kinda want to use it :( |
So much winning.... What kinda timeframe before anyone gets their mits on one?

Just gets better and better. Great work Rev :)

Crushing the world of MS, lol.

How about Tech Edge serial support? Info at WBo2 Logging technical Information and Specification (Tech Edge)

Anyone want to buy a kidney? ;)

Real time clock:

Can someone explain to me the advantage of a RTC on a cars ECU?
|
Timestamping inside a datalog. Also, if you want to setup a digital dash instead of the stock gauge cluster, you can have a clock in there as well.
|
Can I load gslender firmware on it?
|
Obvious troll is obvious.

I think what youre doing is amazing, and it upsets me that I'm a moran. |
LC-1 digital signal in.
It is hanging in free air (20.8% oxygen), then I put some butane gas in it (from a lighter) and it goes pig rich, then I blow air to it and it goes lean again, etc. |

Is there some way we can have a light on the dash activate (seatbelt, maybe) when the fans are on? that would be cool. I'd also like to be able to run the fans when the car is not running. I usually turn the car off, then to "acc" with the AC switch on after the session. If I don't water temps will hit ~240*f from heat-soaking when parked.
I know I could wire this stuff up, but I don't really want to. |
That's pretty easy if you're not using the CEL for anything else.

I emailed Zeitronix about an hour ago - and they replied with the protocol!
Now, if anyone wants to lend out a Zeitronix for the cause... |
Sorry but I do need mine...

Yup, I can use it. It will be shipped back to you in brand new condition as I won't be using it on the car, just on the bench. I have my own sensor as well, no need to send me yours.
|
Cool beans. Only thing is mine is the ZT3, which doesn't have a gauge. I'm planning to order ther little LCD output thing instead. Do you need that too or should I just send you the kit without?
|
Just send the kit minus the sensor. The LCD connects through the serial port, so its useless to me.
|
K. PM me your address

More LC-1 integration pr0n.
With the sensor disconnected, the LC-1 reports Error 2 (Heater open): https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1342956059 This immediately stops the EGO closed loop from altering your fueling. Reconnect the sensor, and: - First the LC-1 enters warmup mode (LC-1 status 4) - the LC-1 Lamda gauge shows the warmup percentage - Then the LC-1 does a heater calibration (LC-1 status 5) - the LC-1 Lamda gauge shows the remaining time to complete the calibration in seconds - Then the LC-1 performs a free-air calibration (LC-1 status 2) - And finally, the LC-1 enters mode 1 and shows % O2 in the LC-1 Lamda gauge (20.8%). |
Think you might do a pre-order or another group buy? I'd like to get my hands on one
|
oh please tell me you'll be able to do the same with my ZT3

Just thought I'd check in and see how this project is going. We've got another MSM to start building up that really needs one of these... Glad to be a guinea pig if necessary ;)
