Question, what is the best way of making my tachometer or oem rpm cluster work?

After I installed my Fab9 cop my tachout stopped working. It's always worked before because I ran a 1k resistor from b+ to ign-

my car is a 94 with mspnp2. Fab9 says their cop has no tach output but the mspnp2 should be able to handle it.

I've changed the tachout reader in my mspnp2 and still didn't work. I know that the 94 95 miatas need some signal from coils.

So is my best route wiring the mspnp2 tachout pin to? Or modifying a signal from the cop? Just wondering if someone has a better way to make my tachout work. Thanks guys. On the phone makes typing hard.

Just to confirm - in TunerStudio, do you have Tach Out set to On and the output pin set to TACHOUT?

Yeah, it is on in tunerstudio. Thanks for replying Matt but I already did a lot of tampering. Figured out the best way was to run my tachometer trigger wire to mspnp2 #11 tachout pin.

Works only that way, no other way. But thanks for the reply, good to know megasquirt support is still here.

Was hoping there was another way, less wiring.
