Default Installed Kraftwerks c30-74 kit, tuning Q's

Hi all, just recently installed a Kraftwerks kit in my 97' Miata. But I'm stuck at the tuning part. I've installed a megasquirt 2 pnp about a year ago and learned a lot about it when street tuning it. I got the car pretty happy overall with little to no change in gas milage as well as the idle pretty steady aside from it catching itself when the a/c kicks on as the revs drop close to idle.

I was able to get the car to start and idle nice and smooth after the install. But now I'm lost as to what my timing and fuel table should look like. I tried to find maps of similar setups to get a general idea on what I should see. But no luck.

Car was a bone stock 97' with working a/c. Has a Kraftwerks c30-74 intercooled setup with 165lph fuel pump, rx8 420cc injectors, 85mm pully on the rotrex, NGK range 7 plugs, GM iat sensor, and all the other stuff such as stronger clutch, frame rails, etc.

*Current tune attached.

Why? Are you going to tune it for me? I'm just looking for examples and advice on where to start.

Because if you upload your tune people can give you pointers on where it looks screwed up. Like add 10 degrees of timing in this row and interpolate from there down to this other row. You know, tuning advice.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding what your explaining exactly. To put it simple, my car is still tuned for N/A. I can easily disable the rotrex and drive it as is without any issues as I already have. So I'm not sure how looking at a tune that has not been touched for use with a rotrex is going to help any as the only way the tune is screwed up is due to it not having anything done to allow it to run with the rotrex.

@OP, in your opinion, what do you think differentiates a tune from a naturally aspirated miata and one for a supercharged miata? All the supercharger is doing is forcing more air in the engine. There is no boost controller to tune and no wastegate to play with.

The answer is your spark and fuel tables. That is what we want to see. In looking at the tune we can see where they are presently and how best to steer you toward a tune in the right direction. The c30-74 likely will produce around 10 psi on your setup which puts us around 75kpa. Reference KPA of 1 atmosphere is 100kpa so your tables should be scaled to go at least to 175kpa for both fuel and spark, if not slightly more.

Thanks for explaining, I appreciate it, and I will admit I misunderstood the other two replies. Just from the little I know and all I have read. I got the understanding that there was a lot more to it in order for it to work well in order for it all to work together. Doesn't sound as bad. I'll cave in and post my current tune with the only adjustment made is the fuel required for the larger injectors. At the dentist so it'll be an hour or so.

Not sure what your anxiety is/was for posting your tune? It’s not like they’re asking for your bank details or home address..

it’s much easier to suggest changes if we can see what you currently have tune wise...

Worried about sharing proprietary information and corporate espionage, I'm certain.
