Default MS DIYPNP not reading rpm's

I have a Braineack built DIY MS PNP. He built it for Mr Jdm for his 91 Miata with a 1.8 engine swap. I bought Mr Jdm's turbo set up and I am now trying to get the MS to work on my car. I have rewired it according to the instructions at diyautotune, akaryrye double checked my work, flashed it with the firmware MS2extra 3.1, and loaded a map from diyautotune to eliminate the maf sensor.

When I connect the MS to my car, I get reading from air intake temp, map pressure, coolant temp, and throttle position. But it won't read my rpms. I'm getting no spark or fuel. Have I missed a setting?

Thank you in advance.

This doesn't really belong in the MSPNP forum - maybe we need a DIYPNP subforum too, as they're very different animals. I would try taking a composite log and see what sensor signals you get.

I've reflashed the firmware, and it appears to be working now. Many thanks to akaryrye for helping me out. Now we just need to do a little fine tuning and 305cc injectors are next to be installed.
