Default 19t wheel

Curious if anyone's swapped out their 15g wheel for a 19t wheel? Impressions? Supposedly the difference in spool is negligable to unnoticable, but the difference in flow is 30hp.

In the DSM world there was a 19c wheel that was being pushed for awhile. It was a truck wheel and wasn't really that great at the boost levels we liked where the G-wheels shined (16G- all forms, 18G and 20G). A Miata might be a different story.

I don't know what a c wheel is, but supposedly the t wheel has some super advanced curved back that makes it spin nice.

The 19t is the largest from the TD04H family of compressor wheels. It was available in the 96-00 Civic kit from Greddy.

looks like it can flow about 80 CFM more.

something like 50BHP.

I'm sure you wont notice any change in spool.

looks like the more popular mod is to replace the 15g wheel with a S60 wheel.
either way requires machining and replacing the backing plate.

gpop told me $400 to p&p the turbine inlet and compressor outlet, and install a 19t wheel (including the backing plate and machine work). and i'd have to sign a waiver absolving them of any liability.

Why consider this when you're building a 1.8 setup?

For $400, I'm not going to do it myself, just was curious about it.
