I took off my MBC.. and my car is STILL spiking to 10 PSI.. its absurd.. my only thought was I have a turbo XS knock off bov.. last time I ran one of those on my GSX it spiked to 17 PSI until I loosened it.. unfortunately I cannot adjust this knock off one. Ideas?

Where are you sourcing your vac signal for the wastegate?

I told Brad to check to see if the wastegate is even functional. If the wastegate arm never opened then this could occur. No changes from when going from MBC to straight vacuum hose. The stock GReddy wastegate should only be like what 5-6psi?

Waste gate is functional.. tho it appears something was stuck and it wasnt pulling. Rust maybe? I muscled it around a bit.. unscrewed the arm all the way open (like its held on by 2 threads) and i'm running 5-6 psi Still some small hesitation (maybe cured by adding the MBC?), but I can definitely break traction in first gear easily. now i gotta install those injectors.

Newb question: w/ the W/g set at 5-6 Psi.. can I set the MBC @ 7-8psi or do I have to reset the wastegate also ?

nope you are good now, MBC will raise the pressure above that point. Looks like we are both almost ready for our drive up on Saturday

K, I'll bring some over. And remind me about the fiberglass filler and epoxy and other junk.
