Are Begi intercooler pipes different for A/C
I'm on the home stretch here and the compressor outlet pipe is blocked and contacting the A/C compressor hard lines. I'm assuming that they have different shaped pipes depending on whether you have A/C or not, right? I think I'm looking at ANOTHER delay...
edit: And before anyone says it, I'm not removing my A/C

My previous miata had no A/C. I don't like getting to work sweaty if I don't have to. It was 95F here today btw. And most importantly I was told A/C would be retained with the kit.
Just wanted to mention in case someone in the future has the same issue that I was able to bend the hardline coming off the A/C compressor with a 2x4 and a deadblow. Pipe clears now!
Scott you need to mention that you have no PS to have to clear. I could not for the life of me get the pipes to fit with AC and PS. It could have very welll been a user error though that caused that.
I originally tried routing the pipe like that but it would not reach the compressor outlet. I had to bend the line closest to radiator down so that the pipe could clear over the top of it. Corky did tell me that they have two versions of the pipe. Mine made a 90 degree bend almost immediately off the compressor outlet. It didn't go straight down as far as yours. He also seem to believe that different years have more or less obtrusive A/C compressors and lines.
having had p/s before, I don't see how there would be any extra interference....the high pressure line, iirc, wouldn't be in the way.

the thing is one end of the pipe is smaller to match the smaller silicone coupler that correctly matches the compressor outlet. So... it only fits one way. Maybe your pipe was different. Anywho, should be turning it on tomorrow for the first time in two weeks!
