I was thinking about getting the garrett kit, not the shanghai. Im just hoping that when I have enough money, someone would sell me their kit before I end up spending almost 4K on the BEGi- s1 kit with megasquirt.....

I ordered the begi-shanghai-s kit. recently installed it with no problems. making its promised 7psi im pretty impressed. the virus of wanting more sets in VERY quick! the staff at begi claimed that it would take a weekend to install, but me and a friend did it in just a couple hours. thanks to their inconvenience and my complaints to corky bell (owner) I was able to talk him out of some free intercooler piping! should be installing that this week sometime. the cooler air should help in huge amounts.

 

Just stick with 18psi's strategy. ALL BOOST NO FUEL.

Just make sure its 17psi, no less. Manual boost controller from ebay is a great tool to have when doing that.
