The recirculating bov I'm using in my car works just as well as a bosch unit and can be found occasionally for cheap on ebay:

FOr wht it's worth....i've got the etd crossover pipe with their turbosmart VTA BOV.......idle is just as smooth as it was when i was NA (installed this with the turbo so really have nothing to compare it too) sounds real nice too....if you like the "annoying" PSH sound when you shift!
