Default Buying Tial goods!

where have some of you bought your Tial products!

i want to buy the Tial V-Band housing and the Tial MVS 38mm wastegate, and have been searching around online for them and dont want to over pay for them!

right now ebay has both the turbine housing and MVS EWG, the housing is $399 and i think the EWG was around $250! i worry about buying them from ebay because of the fact that im worried i wont get the v-band flanges and what not that i need!

amazon had the housing for about $360 but i didnt check on the WG!

where are the good deals at people?

Watch out for knock-offs. If you go to Tial's website they have a whole page deticated to how to spot the fakes.....some of them look ****** GOOD!

$360 and $250 are probably as good as you're going to get for the housing & WG respectively. That stuff does not come up used very often and even then it fetches near-new prices since it's current baller ****. And Tial certainly has minimum advertised prices for their dealers. I did get a bit of a discount through Tim because he is a dealer and is sculpting a bunch of stainless steel for me, though I think for accounting purposes the discount was applied to his services rather than the Tial parts themselves.

Anyway, start scouring classifieds hoping to find gently used parts, or call/email dealers to see if you can get multi-item discounts. I googled around for weeks and didn't have any magic deals fall in my lap for this stuff. Good **** costs money. baller.gif

no doubt that that good **** cost money! as i was told by a friend before! "you gotta pay to play"

i just dont want to overpay for the parts!

Lemme see what I can do. Remember that the WG comes with clamps and flanges, but the turbine housing does not.

sweet thanks Sav! If i can buy the V-band flanges for the housing in a hurry that will be great, so i can get those sent to ARTech for him get the main part of my mani built! then i need to get the EWG soon so i can send that to him to finish the mani!

Be sure to also get the TiAL inconel CHRA bolts if you're gonna track the car. Please stop using the !!!!!! key.

sorry bout the !!!!

The car more than likely will not be tracked, its more or less just my street toy for right now. ill look into getting them anyway though for the added measure of protection....

be sure to get the "cut down" bolts because they ones they sent me don't clear the fittings.
