Tial's v-band housings are lighter, tolerant of higher temperature, corrode less, have better modularity (can go from GT25 to GT35 in the same flange "family") and perform better (IMO) than the Garrett bolted-flange housings of the same a/r.

ATP listed a 38MM at like 22something dollars. Not bad. I got mine second hand, but NIB for 185 about 3 years ago. 220-230 new in 2010 dollars is a good deal.
