Default Can a stock 92 automatic handle a GReddy kit

Hello, To everyone at miataturbo

I'v been thinking about getting a turbo kit for my 92 1.6 automatic, however I'm not sure if it would be worth it. I apologize in advanced for the lack of knowledge I have for cars. All my mechanical skills are in motorcycles. So maybe some of you could help me out. First off would it be a waste of money and good turbo if I were to put it on an automatic? How would the car perform would the transmission be able to take the power of the turbo kit? would I have to modify the trany to hold up? For those who have turbo'ed an auto 1.6 what kit would you suggest ? Any help and thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks Andy

miata.net would be the place to ask. I know at least one person there running a SC on an NB automatic. I think you'd be alright with the modest gain a greddy kit would give you. Not sure if there would be issues with the fit of the DP.
