EFR 6758 wheezy whistler
I've got this brand new EFR6758 that likes to wheeze and whistle as I breathe off the pedal. In and around 2500-3000rpm it sounds like when you get a hard booger stuck in your nose and it whistles.
So it's a leaky diaphragm on the interval BOV. Can't be good for performance. I bought the Turbosmart Kompact Shortie and it's all good now.
Does anyone else around here have this problem?
The problem is prevalent enough that Turbosmart manufactures a solution. So should I even bother putting a note in Borg Warners suggestion box? I really like the Turbosmart solution, so I'll keep it, but I'm really surprised that Borg Warner doesn't offer the option to upgrade the diaphragm so it doesn't suck.

my bypass valve makes a whining/whistling sound at part throttle vacuum cruising.
a bit annoying...
i read BW sells different springs or something for the bypass valve, but have not looked into this further.
so turbosmart makes a diaphram for the bypass valve that solves this annoying sound? got a link?

Yeah it's this thing: turbosmart
And that whistling could be indicative of that valve leaking. I tried buying the stronger spring, but Jegs had it on some indefinite backorder. But you know what? That f$$cking spring is their attempt to fix a problem they are aware of! Which is bull ****.
eh I'll be mad until the $140 is long forgotten.
Oh and the only thing I don't love about the turbosmart is that it gives a light flutter that the ricer bois love.

that whistling is annoying, but not $140 annoying to me
ill see if i can get the BW spring first.
JEGS seems to always be out of BW stuff, ill call up Industrial Injection in SLC, where i got my turbo and see if they have the other spring.
ill post here if this spring solves the noise.
