EFR6258 leaking?
Doing some basic looking around here less than 100 miles on the TSE kit. Noticing a leak above the oil drain almost like it's coming from the exhaust housing? Haven't seen this before - not sure if there's something i should be concerned about

On a Garrett, oil around the turbine housing flange is frequently indicative of a restrictive drain or oil pressure that is too high.

Here is a good thread if you haven't seen it. Looks like Garretts and BWs are pretty similar in this regard. ;)
The scale is difficult, that is -10 line? Sure looks to me like there is a threaded adapter being used. |
Make sure the o-ring on the drain flange isn't torn or cut. Rover did this very early on, o-ring was the culprit.

O-ring looks healthy. The leaking seems isolated to that bottom area still

Clean the area real good with a degreaser.
Add oil dye to oil drive for a bit and check exactly where the leak is coming from with a ultra violet light |
Oil should already glow in UV. There aren't many options for a leak there - it's either the drain or the feed.
Also, I haven't looked at one up close in a while, but I am pretty sure the CHRA tabs are clocked wrong and they look like they're not actually holding onto the CHRA? Might be an optical illusion but double-check them. |

FML you were right. I’m an idiot and had the bottom tabs clocked wrong (top were ok). Thank you! 🍻
