so i just got the Money to buy a downpipe for my greddy but im stuck between 3 options the Begi stainless, begi mild steel, turbotony dp........... i would go with the turbotony dp but dont know how to get one and the begi which one should i get? would like to buy the turbotony cuz ive seen that there alot cheaper!!! which i like
from what I gather BEGI needs to revise their downpipe and is not selling any until they do. Turbo tony is hard to get a hold of. That leaves racing mazda

I might go this route depending on how long RM will take to fab and ship it. Begi's revision might take some time. I have heard RM's might not bolt up to stock cat location though. Conflicting reports on that one

I haven't purchased anything from Ric @ RacingMazda but he seems to have quite a few unhappy customers. I'd look at the BEGi or TurboTony solutions.

Both looks, and the fact that stainless is a poorer conductor of heat. The best-case scenario IMHO would be to buy a regular mild steel downpipe and have it properly ceramic coated.
Ric will do a good job...but you have to be patient. That being said, you can look at some of his work on my build up thread.

Racing Mazda wouldn't even take the order or reply to emails when I was looking for one. I got one from TurboTony (same one RM sells) and it was decent for the price. If you have a friend who can weld and doesn't mind some fab work, you can probably get a better one custom made for the same or less $$$.
I have inconel exhaust valves in the OTM
I'm one of the few with the Begi mild steel pipe. It was a bitch to fit right, but they're addressing that with the next batch. I figure I'll get rid of the Greddy turbo before the pipe rusts.
