Oil filter was on. I did remove the intake manifold support bracket last time I changed the oil so there was a little extra room.

Yeah. I'd call the bracket a bit of over-engineering on Mazda's part. Tons of people on here removed theirs or never even had one to begin with.

Mine did too. I put a Turbo Tony down pipe on and it helped SO much. You really need to upgrade your DP, one of the best mods ever.

I can't wait to feel it with the timing put back to stock. Good luck on the rest of your build.

Are you running the Bipes yet? If not, the retarded timing is why its a dog when not in boost.

Ok, i just took it for its first royal beating,
and dam,, i was loving it
my gf was following me in her civic

we would be side by side in 2nd
she would get on it,
I'd wait a second or 2,
then I would get on it,
shift early, maybe at 5 -5.5k
then

and its exactly at 4lbs, i need to tighten the wastegate, but first, im going to check the gauge, make sure it reads correctly, dont want to add boost if gauge is faulty

but when u tighten the wastegate on the greddy kit
u can squeeze another pound or so from the base greddy kit
and it also stops small vibrations some members had

You tighten the wastegate rod until the flapper is snug and doesn't rattle. In new Greddy kits, it comes adjusted too loose and rattles. You should only tighten it more than that if you have upgraded your fueling system so you can supply enough fuel for the extra boost.
