Anyway, it looks good. I've got to try to build one sometime. How many places did you attach it? Where did you get the metal (not sure where to source stuff like that) and how thick is it?

I got the sheet metal at a local hardware store, you can buy it at prolly any metal supply shop, or maybe even dixieline/ace or semi industrial hardware stores. and I got the heat shield tape at Napa.

My DIY cost me $25. Homedepot sells decent sized sheets of aluminum. There is actually enough to make two heatshields. Gotta have metal snips and rivet tool if you wanna make it look nice. I was contemplating on buying one, but making one yourself was much more fun. I'll take pics of mine today.
