Misc issues
I'm nearly finished with installing my turbo kit and Megaquirt, but I ran into a few issues. How do you NB owners route your vacuum lines for your MAP sensor and boost gauge into the engine bay? Also, I didn't receive a check valve from FM for the charcoal canister solenoid, is this necessary? If so, is there anything I could obtain at Advance or Autozone that will suffice?

I went through the rubber boot that shields the wiring harness on the drivers side firewall, fished the vac hose from the outside into the driver floor area, then I removed one of those covers on the left side of the dash facing the drivers door and routed it up to the a piller trim panel.
Just make a small notch on the cover and it'll go right back on.
I really need to get some pics up because it's kinda hard to discribe.

If you bought your kit from FM, they should have packaged a check valve with it. It shouldn't cost you more than $2 or $3 otherwise.
Or you can remove your charcoal canister or VTA it.
I ran my MAP/Knock sensor lines through the passenger side firewall. Drilled a hole into the engine bay and passed the lines through, then sealed with RTV. Boost line went through an unused hole in driver's side of firewall.

Thanks guys, I ended up punching two holes in the rubber boot on the drivers side before I got a chance to check on here again. I also used an inline PCV valve as an experiment for the check valve. Is there anyway to know if it's working? I don't smell any fuel, but I don't know if that would be a symptom of the solenoid seeing boost.
