Just waking up my thread, some recent pictures of the car. Also I'm building a bottom end over this winter so I can turn up the boost a bit with confidence. The car has been great, reliable and a lot of fun this summer though.

 

In other news, my father passed away a couple months ago now and I inherited his gtx2867r powered mk6 golf r. The NB is still more fun but this is definitely faster, for now at least.
(The Panamera in the background is my MIL's car, not mine before anyone asks)

 

Also uploaded a new little clip of a 3rd gear pull in the Miata running 8 psi of boost. Can't wait until I have my new bottom end together...

 

Sorry about your father. Glad you can take care of his car, it sounds like he had the same love for cars as the rest of us.
