Since the transmission is gone I was exploring the idea of pulling both the motor and trans together and putting forged internals along with a 6 speed and diff. However, I thought of doing a leak down test to determine if it is worth tearing down the motor. Cold Results: 8%/15%/7%/9%. Cylinder two was maintained 15% for ~6hours and is leaking through the exhaust valve. This motor has ~40hrs, 12hrs w/boost, experienced 2 money shifts(8900rpms) and burns 0 oil.

I ran 6-speed/4.1 for years in the original GreenMachine (NB8A), a product of replacing a busted 5-speed with a 6-speed. Acceleration was noticeably improved, at some cost to higher revs on fwy cruising.
On the track that manifested in higher revs - the issue then becoming are you losing more time feathering the throttle in 6th, than you gain in acceleration. For an atmo car, the answer usually is 'no' for a 4.1, but if you have a high power turbo, the redline in 6th is more likely to be a reality, and possibly a liability. The decider would be exactly how much power you have, and the sort of tracks you use.

In for thoughts regarding 6 speed/4.1 on your current setup. I have to say with the 6sp/4.3, I'm doing a lot of shifting between 4/5/6 on our local tracks. It's also become a limiting factor because with the top speed of ~130mph, there's no reason for me to run Willow Springs at my current power level, as the car would be redlined in 6th for a good portion of each lap. Sounds like this can become an issue with some of the super high speed midwest and east coast tracks as well.
A good number of our tracks around here (Chuckwalla and SOW especially) have fairly consistent speeds (3rd/4th or 4th/5th gear) for the majority of the track, with maybe 2-3 substantial braking zones where you're shifting down 2-3 gears at a time. I anticipate eliminating 2-4 shifts per lap with the 6 speed/3.6 combo I just installed.

Finally, I had the opportunity to start tearing down the car. I noticed that all the manifold-to-turbo hardware had backed out, leaving the turbo loose enough to wiggle. I never noticed any power loss. I even set a PB last track day. Additionally, the pilot bearing fell out with the clutch despite it being properly pressed in. I will be getting new bearing as well as stage 8 fasteners.

Skip the Stage8 and go with cross drilled titanium nuts and safety wire them.

Hello! What a great build- thanks for the photos!!! Super clean.
Looking on the Kraken site- I see they had an intercooler/piping kit for the low mount, but not for the top. Did you just make your own?
I currently have the FM S1 kit- but I'm wanting a 3" exhaust bad. Without there being too many pre-fab'd kits available... I'm really thinking about getting the Kraken top mount manifold along w/ their 3" exhaust kit. Do you think that's a ridiculous idea? The sane part of me says yes :(

Buy once, cry once. I only have ~4hrs of track time on my car since installing them with no issues. However, half of that ~4hrs is with a turbo support brace and downpipe support brace installed. The benefit of the Ti cross drilled nuts is that you can secure all 4 nuts on a EFR turbo. On an EFR, you can only secure 3 of the 4 nuts with the Stage 8 tabs.

I did order them from the UK. I looked for a US source, but came up with nothing. I will note, for an EFR I had to take a little off the flange OD to fit in the milled pockets of the turbo flange.
