Default msd boost retard box wiring?

Can anyone tell me how to hook up the wiring for the boost retard box. I got it used and have now wiring schematics. I searched but couldn't find anything.

MSD's tech support number is 915-855-7123.

FM's tech support number is 970 242 3800 (they used to use the MSD, probably still have the old docs)

We just get a little irritated when someone shows up and starts demanding info when it's obvious they haven't used the search function or even Google to try to help themself, and then cops an attitude when given an answer that, while completely accurate and potentially even helpful, requires a small modicum of work on their part.

But since I'm about to leave for an AutoX and I need some good Karma right now...

Assuming your MSD box has four wires (red, black, white, yellow) then the wiring is:

Red = +12 when key is on

Black = GND

White = CKP in from CAS

Yellow = CKP out to ECU

I didn't have this data squirreled away in some secret members-only archive, I just used Google. Took about three minutes.

Assuming a 1.6 car (you didn't specify) then the CKP wire is a white wire at position 2E on the ECU.

Have we serviced your needs adequately?
