ok i just installed my msd recently i installed some ngk iridium one step colder plugs. running a saabfmic and greddy bov. pushing 6lbs boost soon to be at 8 psi with the help of 1.8 injectors. what should i set my timing too for now then what about then?

 

how much does the MSD pull again? a total of 6* IRCC?

if so then try 13-14*...make sure you dont ping.

 

pulls 2 at 4psi
2 more at 5 psi
2 more at 6 psi

I could get away with 13 unless it was hot outside and I was pushing it, with 93 octane and 9psi, basically the same set up. I don't think you have 93 out in cali, so you should run a bit less.

 

i have 91 octane. so should i be fine with setting it at 12 * with 6lbs boost and say like 10 with 8-9lbs?
