New greddy kit installed..weird noise.
This, or the racing beat mid-pipe and highflow cat make it lean towards the transmission. I will try to unbolt all the exhaust/manifolds bolts and see if I can gain some clearance.
The car looks good. Welcome to the boosted life, it only gets better as you learn more.
Now please do as we so politely asked and make a introduction thread. It makes it alot easier on us if we know who you are, what is specifically done to your car, shoe size, preffered condiments, paper or plastic, etc...

:And then I was like:

lol. When i read the title to this thread, that was my kneejerk reaction:
"That weird noise is a problem with your exhaust and intake modifications. The best way to make the noise go away is to reinstall the stock unmodified header. Once that is complete, your weird noise will go away"
And then i read this
OP Being serious? Since I'm only 95% sure that it IS the turbo, I'm not going to call you a dipshit yet. If I'm right, I'll post the 1-word response
I hope he realizes that ITB's are going to less reliable and much more work than a stock Greddy kit. Especially when you want a kit with a "pre-tuned" ECU.
Beautiful car though, very nice tuck/shaved bay.

I told him there's no such thing as a pre-tuned ECU, and that the best would be to use a base map and adjust accordingly. Then he comes back and says he knows that, and all he wants is an ECU with a very good base map

See I can understand when someone say... Im tired of turbo, and I want a LS1. I can't seem to comprehend.... I doint like turbo, and the ability to double the power on my car easily. Im going ITB.
What are you doing with the car that you chose to go with ITB instead of the GReddy kit? When I first boosted my car I had the GReddy kit and was decently happy, even though it wasn't that much of a power adder. I cut off that shitty downpipe and used the flange and fabbed a 3" one that would accept a WB02, installed a manual boost controller and did all the other necessary things, such as FMIC, BOV and fuel tuning (and a bunch of other things that prompted my current engine build, ha ha). Unless you're doing an engine swap, you're not going to get very good power from an ITB setup. Unless your compression is 1897689164790123:1 and you use a NON-MAZDA-MIATA head.

Also, this MiataTURBO.net, we like us some turbos here. Not really a good place to be looking for a trade of ITB's for your turbo kit.
Good luck though and as I said before, beautiful car.
It's not bashing on you. If you read correctly you would have noticed that Buffoon01 changed the word "bay" to "*****" in my post. LOLOLOL, it's just what we do here. Taking offense is the last thing you should do, especially from a bunch of closet homos who use the internet to flex their e-muscles and talk **** because most of them are huge pussies and talking **** in person is dangerous
