O2 clamp- hesitation symptoms?

O2 clamp- hesitation symptoms?
Hey everyone, I've had a turbo miata for a while, but it's always had a strange hesitation at low RPM, almost as if the car was not making any power for a few split seconds. Is this the lean condition that the O2 clamp is supposed to fix? For a while I thought it was from a slipping clutch, lol.
