After I clocked my turbo and bent the stock oil drain down, it sat too close to the exhaust manifold causing the oil return line to get brittle and leak over time. Of course (according to Murphy's law) it chose to leak when I was on the track.
Anyway, I think I solved the problem by getting a replacement oil drain flange off fleabay, stainless steel pipe with one threaded end from mcmaster, and some heat shielding. The stainless pipe brings the hose further away from being right next to the exhaust manifold and I just wrapped the upper section of hose in heat shield blanket for good measure.
Granted, I could have switched the entire system to braided lines with AN fitting, but it seemed too much extra work for a low pressure system.
