Default Oil feed line question...

I was just looking at the oil feed line for the Greddy I installed quite a while ago. At the block, I seem to have installed the fitting with the copper washer. I vaguely remember that the fitting wouldn't mount flush against the block without it.

Was this a mistake as it seems to indicate in the manual? It seems always to have leaked quite a bit from that location.

I'll know more tomorrow when I actually get around to pulling it off.

All tips appreciated as always.

Cheers, Jon

Thumbs up

Look ma', no hands (or washer):

GReddy manual

A washer goes on the turbo-side, not the block-side.

As it turns out, neither did I. cleaning and reattaching seemed to solve the problem.
