I just bought a used Flyin Miata turbo kit for my 1999 Miata and wanted to know if anyone had any good pictures of how the old style intercooler piping (mandrel bent piping) was put together.

There were at least three different designs, the old OLD one (turbo clocked pointing up), and the newer old one (turbo clocked pointing down) which had both a 49-state and a CA version. Here are some photos of the one I had (the 2-cat 99 California kit that was CARB approved):







Your best bet is to call FM and ask them. They can probably identify the kit generation and send you a PDF of the instruction manual that came with it.
