which way to go now????
ok well ive hit as much boost as im gunna want for now. im planning on staying around 8-10. well im wundering what can i do next or more what should i do next to make it more reliable and which route would be easiest as far as tunability and cost and ability to change if i wanna up my boost later. as of now i have the greddy kit with custom ic pipes to an all aluminum saab intercooler; 12:1 fpr; greddy type rs bov vent to air; 1.8 injectors; walbro 190 lph hp fuel pump; msd timing retard unit; timing set and 8degrees; running shitty 91 octane. well my next couple things im gunna get is a larger down pipe get rid of the stock greddy unit; wb02; full 2.5" exhaust as of now its 2.25"; then im debating either ms or emb or what else could i do for management to make it more reliable????? i have a freind who builds ms and could hook me up easy. but wanna know what would work best for me especially want something that can handle the stress of sliding around while im drifting......thanks for any and all input

You can sell the MSD on eBay and get a used Bipes from a forum for about an even exchange, then bump your base timing back up to 14* to get your low end power back.
If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, that would be my next step... easy to include it as part of your dual-feed-fuel-rail setup. That way you can monitor the difference each disc change in the Vortech makes. The gauge along with a WB02 will take you pretty far with tuning. I'd think you should have no problems at 10psi or a little over that on the 1.8's at about 110-120psi of fuel pressure. Step up to 305's/310's/330's and you should be able to run in the 12psi range at about 100psi fuel pressure at an even 200whp.
Shitty 91* gas can be a showstopper. You can keep knock under control by lowering intake temps. A basic WI kit couldn't hurt. The Devil's Own gets awesome reviews and is fully adjustable based on boost.

You're running 1.8 injectors and a 12;1 disk in the vortech? How are you not running super rich at 8psi?
With a fuel pressure of 140 or so?
