Default Red manifold

what causes the manifold to be extremely red at just driving normally on the highway. I notice it when i got off the freeway and opened my hood at night. My car is running pretty rich. 13 and 12 AFR and how do i post up my data log?

Red from heat? What ECU are you running?
If your AFR is good, then you may have too much timing retard (or too little advance).
If you are running MegaSquirt: post your MSQ and a datalog run. See the manual on how to do this.

Have you ever messed with the timing table at all since you bought it... or are you running the same one that came with it? And 12-13AFR on the highway is way too damn rich... I bet you're getting around 15mpg? Have you ever had the thing on a dyno or done any tuning?

And it would be great if you could put your location in your profile and your build-list in your signature.

You can find the megamanual on Google.

^ not normal for cruising Magna..

run MLV a few times to get your idle and cruise AFRs up, your cat might be clogged too, from the richness and resultant heat.
