Default Rev Limit Crystals

Anyone Up their Rev limiter and normally drive up there in the 7-8k Rpm range? Would a regular simple modded greddy kit make power up there? I mean....Is it worth it?

The only time it might be worth it is if you autocross and it saves you a shift into third.

nope. there's no power to be had up there with the stock cams. like jay said, it's only worthwhile if you need a slight edge to keep you off the rev limit, so you can skip an upshift. don't you have a megasquirt anyway? you understand you can set your limit anywhere you want it by clicking on the keyboard, right..?

Just get a MS for 250$ and build it yourself if trust your self to solder inside the ecu case of the car why not get something with a revlimit adjustable on the fly. No one accept cccpull has done it boosted i believe but sine a disagreement with phiillip over firearms regulations he is no longer on here nor is there any oficial record he ever existed still you could talk to him or Loren the original starter of this on m.net.
