Default Stumbling around on JC whitney and I found this!

Turbo Specialties Superior Performance Turbocharger Kit : JC Whitney: Auto Parts & Accessories

I never thought I could find something like that on JC Whitney. Full turbo kit at 1800 bucks. Maybe its worthless, but the price is good.

Hope this isn't a re post, I searched around, didn't see any mention.

It looks like a full cast manifold with some class of garret turbo, and a pretty large intercooler. I might pull the trigger on this myself.

I talked to a customer support rep about it. Comes with a 1 year manufacturers warranty, he didn't have any other information on it.

http://www.turbospecialties-race.com...mm2502_sup.asp here is the actual kit. (lol second repost I'm a search function reject I supposed) I found the original thread with the install. Thanks for giving me a hand on finding it sam.

You could do a better new setup for the same or slightly higher cost if you collect all the pieces from various suppliers. IE-call begi and get an S kit without the RRFPR, or turbo, or whatever else you don't need. Then get a rebuilt turbo and ebay IC stuff for cheap.

But who knows if what they have is any good. Can't tell much from the picture (1) and short description.

The install by urban went REALLY bad evidently. Waste of time.

The Turbo Specialties bolt-on kits feature the Garrett line of top quality turbochargers, mated with Asian made manifolds, intercoolers, pop off valves and electronics to create the finest, highest performing street car turbocharger systems available.

Rook rike Chineee parts. Turbo Specialties has a website full of nothing - non-links, no specs on Turbo or other components, and they are a telecom company. I'd throw my money away...I mean try it, if I had the money to bur..., spend.

Does anybody recognize the manifold? Maybe they got whoever was making the mani for HKS or somebody to make some more, or just copied it or one like it.

There are a lot of T25s out there. To buy one without knowing the spec would be fun.

Urabn eventually had to make a claim with the BBB to help convince them to supply the correct turbo. IIRC they supplied him with a GT2252, which isn't even a Ball Bearing turbo. I believe the excuse was Garrett makes too many turbos it's hard to keep up with them. Each kit might come with a different turbo

For the price, there is no reason not to go with a BEGi -S.

Just look at that weak *** coupler for crying out loud:

rule of thumb, if a kit suppiles couplers that look like the above pictured, don't buy it.
