Well after a month with no exhaust on the car i finally took the plunge and installed my exhaust today. My only probem is that the part of the Tony DP mating with the bell part of the midpipe. Im having some trouble getting it on all the way. I have it on the pipe and wiggled it up about 1/4 of an inch so its barely around the other pipe, but I cant get it pushed up all the way in the bell. And this of course throws off the alignment of my hangers so right now I have the midpipe on the DP and the cat connected all being held up by a floor jack with it barely hanging onto the DP. But the floor jack is holding its weight so it doesnt fall off since its not hung on the hangers.

Anyone else have this problem? And tips to get the pipe fitted correctly?

 

It fits, you just have to not connect the downpipe to the turbo until you get the mid-pipe connected. Yeah, it requires two people.

 

yeah I just got done with it. I just didnt want to fool with that bottom bolt but all is well and I am muffled now lol

 

Yeah, that bottom bolt sucked, that's actually a suggestion I was going to make to Tony, kind of make a cutout or something so that is more accessible. I don't even think I torqued it down with any amount of force, it's just on there.
