Getting near the end of my project now.. but i dont know what to do about an exhaust..

At the moment i have a 3" ARtech DP on the way that goes as far as the Cat or there abouts.. would it be best to continue the 3" to a back box or does it matter?? also which backbox would suit..

(by backbox i mean rear muffler or whatever you american chaps call them)

the only exhaust worthy to mate to the glorious Artech downpipe is an Artech exhaust. if your downpipe is 3" and you care about performance, you will make sure that the rest is also 3" and straight through.

 

the man is a genius!! i'm not sure if i can wait any longer for a delivery he's a busy man.. so say i were to build my own.. would you use any back box at all?? isn't straight through gonna be crazy loud??

 

Use a nice magnaflow muffler BUT make sure it's a straight through design and not a louvered muffler.

3" is perfect.

 

excuse my ignorance but can you explain the difference between louvered and straight...
