you guys think it's too big?
I'm upgrading a few things over the winter, one being the FMIC. The core measures 18x12x3in, 24in from inlet to outlet. Other upgrades will be refreshed head, 550 injectors controlled by the LINK, and RM DP.

It's really not as big as you'd think.
I considered that one (still am for an upgrade). My core is 11x12x3, so it's only just 7 inches wider than mine. Should look nice.
FWIW, You guys need to remember, there's a point where you are not going to make an more effiency gains from a larger intercooler.
Say you have an intercooler that runs at an effectiveness of 95% and looses .50 psi out of 10.
Now make it twice as big and te effectivness gain will probably be 2% and the pressure loss will drop more
The area of an intercooler core relative to temperature drop of internal air gets exponentially smaller with increased pressure loss.
I'm not saying zoom2zoom's intercooler is too large. I'm just saying.

I'm pretty sure that's the one that I've got in my car. No overheating issues....yet.... On a side note, it is definitely oversized for most applications and the gains in cooling are minimal over a smaller IC, but it was cheap at the time so I got it. Side note: I don't have AC so if you do, you may have fitment issues.

Look for something around 27X7X3 overall. That unit you are showing will block the entire radiator. Been there done that. It sucks.

yeah, it is a tad big. but I might run a radiator just slightly narrower than the inlet/outlet and run the IC pipes straight out from the turbo to the inlet, and straight from the outlet to the throttle body with an "air scooper" feeding the IC and radiator. a Civic half size race radiator would be ideal. this would decrease pressure drop and help reduce lag. I have most of the materials for it, but we will see.

Looks cool and the route is short.....wouldn't do it again. The Civic rad is much too small.

One of my Miatas has an NPR IC with custom pipes, and the other has the Jim's pipes IC with Saab IC. This big one would be replacing the Saab IC.
