Thank you, Rick. I've looked at the sticker both under the hood and in the Workshop manual. Trying to get some help with understanding it better here.

Joe, I've Googled, of course. The link you give is the Australian link I've mentioned in my very first post. California-spec cars are different and seem to have more crap, including what looks like a second solenoid. Not sure yet what it does.
