Default FMIC Questions before ducting

Hello all,

Finally getting around to doing what I should have done a long time ago... ducting. I have been overheating on the track for longer than I'd like to admit, having to call it before my 20 minute sessions.
The core is 18x9x3, I've attached some photos of measurements and the internal fins.
Has 2.25" in/outlet.

Is this a BEGI? I'm assuming it is because I have hard IC pipes running on in/out of FMIC.
Regardless if it is or isn't is it worth replacing with something better at the same time? My understanding from reading on here is BEGI makes a pretty good IC... the rest is questionable..

Before I start ducting and hacking up my LRBspeed undertray/side panels for my IC piping, I was wanting to know if my FMIC is up to snuff. I bought the car pre-turbo'd...

That is a Begi IC. Not sure what size it is. The core is better then most ones you can buy off the shelf that are in the budget line.

Thanks for the reply.
What is the current best sold suggestion for a build that has plans to be in the 250-300whp range? Or am I just fine with what I got just focus on remounting and ducting to lower temps.
