Interesting I just weighed mine and empty and stripped it weighed 21 lbs. I think it was from a 92.

Got me thinking how much that undercoating stuff on it weighs. I squirted some aircraft coating remover on it though and it didn’t phase it. I wonder if there is a good way to get that stuff off.

Scraped all the rubber undercoating off a tank it dropped 4 lbs and now weighs 17 lbs.

Probably would have been easier to just go on a long bike ride to try and loose 4 lbs off my fat *** though.

My crude weighing was done on a bathroom scale. Good to know there is some weight to be lost there though. I am going to go at that and the undercoating on the rest of the car some time.
