I have a Featherlite 14' x 8.5' with the 6.5ft deck, tire rack on front, and side store ramps. I like it so far after having marked where I need the front wheels to be to get the ratchets to have enough room, it probably isn't ideal though. I store it in a 11' x 20' outdoor storage spot with a wheel lock, tongue lock, and I have insurance through my auto policy for $7/mo. If someone wants it bad enough they will find a way.

It seems like the 6' deck might only give you a couple of inches side to side, depending on your wheel and tire setup.

Just to share a quick update, the situation sorted itself out in an unexpected way: my wife decided we should move to a house, which just so happens to have very long driveway. I checked in the council page and I should be able to park the trailer in the driveway. Now I'm looking for a standard 20x8.5 enclosed trailer.

I think you will find that solution to be superior in every aspect.
