Default Ideas

This gives me an idea. I have a larger treadstone from my dsm. Rated 800hp, we'll cfm anyway. I had to cut my bumper support but this looks to be a similar situation. If I can get some brackets together, sky is the limit and dsm/evo intercooler here we go.

Your next idea should be to refrain from bumping 4 year old threads

Sad the life you have. Trolling noobs on forums? Glad you feel better about yourself. You must be abused or a victim of some sort, leading you to be a internet tough guy. Let's be honest, sending money to these people, in the hopes of it aiding the sell of your crap is the only reason your still on here. I read through some of your post and your nothing but a waste of a heartbeat............

man why waste my time..........

good luck buddy, you obviously have some serious inferiority issues.

If you thought that was this forum's version of "internet tough guy", you are in for a rude awakening. I'm one of the nice ones.

This is true. I can say from experience.

There is nothing wrong with bumping old threads. There is something wrong with creating a new thread if an old one already exists.

I'm so confused here. What in the world does the evo/dsm have anything to do with this thread about Miata appropriate sized universal cores?

This might be the wrong place to ask this, but what is the general opinion of the Vibrant cores?

When compared to a high quality core, what Andrew said.

When compared to your typical poverty ebay core or something from a junkyard, they're decent.

Actually while we're all saying dead thread ironically it's the first time I've seen it. I've been trying to pic my intercooler I'm running a t25 on a na6 that has a 1.8 swap with forged internals just trying to get a reliable 200 max hp out of it reliably. I'm having difficulty deciding on an intercooler that will have good figment and be cost effective. I have no ac but i have a huge radiator so that's a concern any way if anyone has any input and doesn't mind commenting on a dead thread let me know
options I've been comsidering
-mishimoto z line
-cxracing (god help me)
-treadstone

They are not "great" but the best budget oriented intercoolers out there. The majority of newer eBay ones are complete crap. The Vibrant 12800 is about $150 on Amazon and there is nothing else in that price range that is anywhere near as good. All the better IC cores get much more expensive very fast. If you have the money it is worth getting a better IC core, but if you are on a budget then the Vibrant will work for a stock motor.

fwiw I have this cxracing unit
cxracing miata intercooler | eBay
Once I really push it I am getting 90 over ambient doing 12 psi at 7000 rpm and once you let off it cools down right away. For everyday driving it's a lot less.
For a 200 hp street car it should be plenty good, and being small it would allow airflow to the radiator.

of those 3 listed above, I'd go with treadstone
