Sav, I should choose my words more carefully to properly reflect terminology of such a mod. Gutted calipers is my interpretation of the mod. Deleting rear caliper adjuster seems more appropriate.

Thanks Jpreston, that's one of the threads I found we researching the mod.

I'm gonna debby downer you and venture to guess that wont add any rigidity, but I look forward to your results.

According to: Wilwood High Performance Disc Brakes - Caliper Product Number: 120-9693-SI

The wilwood bridge bolt kit: 230-10118 can be retrofitted to all DynaPro calipers.

I'm not sure. The caliper claims to be compatible with 7812 pads. Seems odd that they would require grinding.

psyber_0ptix 03-24-2017 03:12 PM

OK, before I spread more misinformation, yes the Dynapro uses 7812 pads.
I've removed my previous comment. What I was thinking was actually the use of 7752 pads in Dynapros per a discussion with another vendor; compound choices and all....irrelevant to topic at hand.

There are definitely bridge bolt kits for any of the dynapro's that use the 7816 pads (same shape but more material) but depending on caliper width, may need to be shortened. Hence your inquiry in the other thread. Gotcha.

aidandj 03-24-2017 03:16 PM

I run the 7112 pads also. That need to be cut to fit. Because you still retain the clip system that holds the pads in you must still grind out the pads.

k24madness 03-24-2017 03:34 PM

Thats what I ran the 7112's.

Since making some changes my bridgebolt dynalites are up for grabs. I also have V8R 11.75 bracket and lines.
