Wouldn't the fastest tire you can buy through TR be the hoosiers A6?

Anyone try the NS2R from Nankang? They are offered in a 180 street and 120 track UTQG rating.
I don't think they are in the US yet, a supplier for my racing series is advertising them for early spring... if spring ever arrives |

I use 205/50/15 RRs on 15x9 6UL. It fits. The RR is wide for a 205.

I figured this would be the case, thank you. Any chance you've got pics?
225/50 RR's are $168, R1s's are $178, how much faster are they? |
R1-S should be as fast as an A6, and therefor quite a bit faster than an RR.
RR should have better life. 225/50 is a bit tall for a miata? |

Any reliable news on 245/40-15 RS-3 or Rival? I need TW140, max 23" for open/street autox.
I’m also interested as I too have TW140 limit in my TimeAttack class |

Question for you guys, what should be faster on the track:
-NT01 in 225/45/15 on a 15X9, RC1 in 205/50/15 on a 15X9 or RC1 in 205/50/15 on a 15X8 with a stock power level NB? What would be your choice? Thanks for the input. |
from my understand a 205 RC1 ~ NT01 in laptime, but [the RC1 is] slightly more desirable due to other characteristics. (not personal experience, just copy & pasting)

And Charles is running a Toyota mr-s, no need to answer him ;-)

Thank you SADrider! |
Hey Charles, funny to see that you wish your MR-S would be an NB....haha. I'll be trying the 205-50-15 rivals on 15x8 wheels. I'm confident that setup could be could in time attack, but since you don't get points by running 225-45-15 on a 15 x 9, that should be faster in every way.

Michelin Competition Slicks would be at the top of the fast list.......

Also where do the AVON non-dot slicks fall on that list? If you needed to do 1 stupidly fast lap the extra stiff construction and hill climb compound tire is about 2 seconds faster than the softest hoosier Rxx non-dot slick, but they'd probably be over heated by the 2nd lap. But where do the more reasonable for road racing compounds fall? |
