Default V8R BBK Install

I'm installing the V8R BBK this weekend and have a question for those of you running this kit.

Am I pulling out the factory prop valve or leaving it in place?

I assumed that I was removing it all together and replacing it with the adjustable one with the kit, but the lines that came with the kit are suggesting that the factory prop valve should be used.

Thanks,
Shawn

Dunno about that kit - but FM's prop kit came with a line union to eliminate the oem valve completely... did you get any flares/couplers like it? If it came with a prop valve, I don't see why you'd retain the oem valve...

It came with two short lines (12-14in) with 3/8-24 on one side and 10mm on the other.

The length and fittings would suggest line from the master to the OEM prop valve.

Doesn't seem right?

Just looking at a pic of the kit Emilio has up, that's a tandem master cylinder and I see no prop valve.

You got me curious about it - since I thought about upgrading mine.
Found it's a 50/50 output meaning you either have to use your oem prop valve, or replace it with the one I posted above (which I suggest doing)

Figured it out.

If I would have opened all the boxes, I would have been good. There was a small bag in one of the boxes with a "Y" adapter for the front lines and a 3/8 to 10mm adapter for the rear.
