Default wtb resbond and fire sleeve

I'm going to pull the turbo on my car to do the inconel studs and a bunch of other things. I would like to heat sleeve the coolant lines. I have a FM heat shield to go on but I'm not even sure that it covers the area around the coolant lines.

so what size sleeve should I buy for the coolant lines behind the turbo? also thinking about doing something for the turbo oil line, not sure what I have yet, perhaps I should make a stainless an line if i have rubber.

the car came with a FM turbo kit but it is at least 5 years old.

does anyone sell a small bottle of the resbond thread lock, would rather not buy a big bottle if I only need a few drops.

I think Bat Inc has the fire-sleeve listed by hose size.

We don't sell the Resbond separately, no.

Mcmaster-carr sells some high temp threadlocker. It doesn't say Resbond, but it does say it's good to 2100F.

http://www.mcmaster.com/#threadlockers/=godkza

Click on "extreme temperature"

I just ordered some to go with a FM inconel kit, so not sure how either will perform yet.

I bought a big bottle of Resbond to assemble my hot stuff. I'd need to find a small bottle to put some in but I'm game to sell a bit. The label says it should be used within 6 months of opening or something similar and I popped it around new year's. Send me a PM if you are interested.

I would be interested in a small bottle too. That makes 2 people now so it might be a good idea to source for small bottles. I sent you a PM mr_hyde

If you put some Resbond in a baby bottle with some fire-sleeve shavings and suck it, you'll get f@cked up!

I'm actually ordering some fire sleeve tonight myself. Best price I could find was on eBay. Looks like a reputable seller and will meet my needs. Noice!

You got a link to the one you're looking at?

And what size would we need to protect the heater core lines back by the turbo?

I'm at MRLS this weekend and then out of town for work all next week. When I get home the following weekend I'll have plenty of time to bottle some and figure out a fair price shipped. Postage and the bottles will be most of the cost.

I just hope it doesn't blow up and if it does, that it waits until after lunch Sunday...
