There is no absolute proof that the earth revolves around the sun either. The "other theories" (I'm assuming you mean creationism here) involve no science, evidence or anything legitimately resembling the aforementioned.

Because people are naturally curious, we must explain our existence somehow.

 

eh. i got better things to worry about. space is big, the earth is old. i couldn't give a **** about the rest -- ill just drift aimlessly until someone has a better, more provable theory (science or fairy tale).

Me being a white male, and disagreeing with our half black president, that makes me a racist? No that's the racist part when white men are accused of racism with no basis.

We can not help we are white and for it some of us are attacked being accused of racism. Now that my friend is racism.

Hell I remember during Obama's campaign that some black people who did not support him were being accused of being "haters of their own race". Excuse me? We are looking past the race as it is not important. We look at the man, the mans accomplishments, the mans failures, the mans broken promises.

We had this problem in the military while in a training class we had to repeatedly go through every few months. The instructors had anti Bush calendars, made jokes, and most students were not much different. Not liking your "boss" is a normal thing. However; when Obama hit office while I was in a class and the anti Obama jokes started. Funny thing was the jokes were more in reference to his probable failure or lies or some actually semi intelligent remark. Where as the Bush ones were..a little....."more colorful". Our head instructor barged in and gave us all a huge lecture on racism and the legality of mocking the president in the military for hours. The same man who bagged on Bush. He also was black. I love how it's okay to make jokes until a "minority" is involved that same as you. My father once told me as a kid, "Your a middle class, white, and male. You will have it harder than anyone else when you get older" and trust me he is no racist. I could go for hours so that's the short and curly for my medicated night.

 

So...today two cars attempted to pass me on a two lane residential road with oncoming traffic as an ambulance and firetruck were coming up from behind with their sirens and lights on. I was in front and slowed down to let the trucks pass, and to my surprise the car behind me honks and flashes its brights...and the car behind him floors it over the double yellow to try and pass both of us. What's wrong with people?

Sometimes I wish I was less educated so I'd understand what's going on inside these moron's heads.
