Default Intermediate rich spikes while driving. Please help!!

Car has been running fine for a while. All of a sudden sometimes while driving the AFR spikes towards rich and and the car sort of bucks when this happens. If I push the throttle and accelerate and get under boost it’s fine. Not sure where to start this hunt. A few times I’ve pushed the clutch and revd the car really high and it cleared up. This doesn’t happen all the time either. My laptop is dead so I am going to datalog this when it charges later tonight. Thanks in advance

Car is a 1991 Miata. 1.6L engine running MSQ2

i stopped for a few. Turned the car off for about 30 min. Started it back up and drove home and it ran like normal. Weird

thanks for your reply. Can these settings just change? I have not made any changes other than a few timing adjustments.

edit: well I plugged in the laptop and immediately noticed the tps was sitting at 5 or so. Tried to recalibrate without much luck. I couldn’t get it to go to 100% at WOT either. Since it’s a flying Miata variable tps I went out and loosened the outer screws and adjusted it as close as I could to zero and then recalibrated. That worked and it drove fine for almost an hour of spirited driving and boost pulls. Thanks guys
