I know I'll get flamed for a noob question, but I did a LOT of searching and could not a conclusive answer. I recently bought a low mileage 1996 1.8 NA w/AC and PS. I found a local Begi S3 for sale that the owner was running on a 1999 NB 1.8. It seems the S3 isn't sold anymore, so finding information from Bell tuning is a little tricky. From the seller I gathered that the manifold will fit fine, the issue will be the extending the downpipe slightly to meet the rear cat inlet. I also read on another thread that someone had doubts whether the intercooler piping would fit between the NB and NA.

If anyone has definite answers that would be really appreciated!

 

Yes this is an old thread. the s3 is a good system, but old, you have little compatibility. He is not cheap on his price either. Save your money, something new would be like $1000.00 more and made to fit your car
