Just the facts.
Need a male and female spline in order for axle shop to make custom axles. So only really need the last few inches, outside (wheel side) of the axle shaft that goes into outer CV.

Most every axle I find for free or purchase new use a larger shaft and higher spline count than the factory NB, and are one time use with a very tight spline interference fit.

I have new outer CV joints that have the factory 22 Spline..
